Working in student counselling for quite a number of years provided me with the opportunity to assist people from different backgrounds and ages to overcome personal difficulties that impacted on their academic performance. As a result I have accumulated years of experience in working with young professionals, students and adolescents who are facing difficulties in different aspects of their mental, emotional, social and occupational functioning.
In my private practice I continue to provide psychological assessment and psychotherapy for adults, couples and, adolescents. I continuously update my training regarding topics and therapeutic techniques that are of relevance in today’s world. My professional interests are in couple therapy, overcoming trauma, depression and anxiety, addiction science, adjustment difficulties, career management and health psychology.
I prefer using an integrative therapy approach built on a client’s individual needs and readiness to change.
